Well, not really Holy. You know, I never understood why Christians rarely encourage their children to trick-or-treat. It's kind of weird. Odd. I understand all of the negativities that are concerned with Halloween...the witches, the ghosts, the past with history, the scared children...Freddy, Jason; what have you. But if you don't consume yourself with it, open yourself up to it and your children, why can't we all just dress up and go get candy? I just don't get it. Just like music and television. If you listen to the good stuff and watch the good stuff...it's all fine. For real. So there is bad language in songs. Are you really going to go home repeating that bad language and in turn let it soak so far deep into your brain that you actually believe everything you hear? Is it so wrong to watch a movie that could be inappropriate? I mean, you know what is going on in the movie is wrong and you wouldn't do it, but it's just a flipping movie. I think that Christians border so far along the lines of legalism that they just can't enjoy themselves. I know that Jesus is watching everything I do. I know that I will answer to him one day in heaven for all that I have done. And I also know that He knows my heart. I listen to music because I like the sound. I watch the movies because I like to laugh. I cuss sometimes because, well...it cracks me up. I love to say "move your ass" and "what the hell". Ask me to say it and you'll laugh too. Ask me about Jesus Christ, ask me about what He means to me and you'll see a true love for the Lord. I am not perfect, I don't try to be. I just want to be an honest person and not get wrapped up with what others believe is the "right" thing to do. Who cares what other people think about what I do and what I consider to be right or wrong? Dammit to all hell people.
